Success!!

we made the tortillas last night (yes, Sweetheart helped). ooh, they were all warm and yummy! they werent round, but Im pretty sure that will come in time. I remember occassionally "helping" my Mom rolls out the tortillas, and yesterdays were much rounder than those were! so, see, I am already better than I thought Id be.

also, Sweetheart found a job as a server. he is still looking for something with a steady income, but we are excited and happy that he found a job. God is so good to us. Sweetheart has court on Monday, and we have been praying very hard for a long time now. there is a good chance that the case will be dismissed.

Sweetheart and I have been using the library, and I had forgotten how much I love that place! I'm currently reading The Tender Bar by JR Moehringer. Im about 1/4 of the way through, and so far, Im really enjoying it. its like a coming-of-age book about a young fatherless boy and a bar. lately, I just cant read enough, so if anyone has ANY book suggestions for me, please let me know. I recently finished The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and it is amazing. I highly recommend it. yes, its a kids book. its basically The Jungle Book set in a graveyard. weird concept. great book. I liked it so much that I made Sweetheart read it. he liked it so much we got the audio version and are spending time cuddled up being read to. being read to is an awesome thing.
